Six years ago, 8 May 2016, Porcelain Bear held a lavish launch event to officially open our first showroom in Derby St Collingwood. In attendance were 300 guests, many of them among Australia’s leading design professionals; maybe we had the pleasure of your company on that evening.
With delicious gourmet treats on offer, the DJ played chilled house music while guests socialised and viewed several new furniture and lighting series in our newly designed space. At the PB bar, the espresso martinis, wine, beer and spirits were free flowing all evening.
The bar itself was made specifically for that launch event and is now being made available to purchase. It’s one of a kind item and is fully clad in our porcelain Metro tiles with a porcelain and leather lamp from our Cloche family integrated into the bar top at the corner.
We now offer our one-off PB bar for sale. This piece could be used as a bar but, possibly with a little modification to the rear, would also make an excellent boutique or shop counter, waiter’s station in a café or restaurant or a reception desk facade for an office or professional suite.
